In what sizes are the printwand wall coverings available?

The minimum size is 10 x 10 cm. The maximum size is 150 x 300 cm. Please contact us if your desired size isn't available in the configurator. We'll find a solution together.

How do I measure correctly?

We've created detailed instructions for correctly calculating profile thicknesses and silicone joints for shower back walls. You can download this calculation tool here .

How much glue do I need?

Of course, it always depends on the surface and your specific application. As a guide, please allow approximately one cartridge for 1.5m², and a little extra in reserve can't hurt.

Which materials are possible?

Our wall coverings are currently available in two material forms, depending on the application:

3mm aluminum composite panel

An aluminum composite panel consists of two aluminum layers and a polyethylene core, which makes our shower back walls particularly stable and waterproof.

- heat-resistant up to 80°

- easy to work with jigsaws, circular saws and core drills

- suitable for indoor and outdoor use

3mm scratch-resistant acrylic glass

An acrylic sheet is a transparent plastic, also known as PMMA. Acrylic glass itself is not scratch-resistant. However, the original Plexiglas optical HC we use is very scratch-resistant.

- heat-resistant up to 80°

- can be processed with suitable jigsaws and circular saws as well as core drills

- suitable for indoor use

Are the panels waterproof?

Yes, both our aluminum composite panels and our acrylic panels are waterproof. Of course, a proper silicone sealant is also required.

Can I also use my own photos?

Yes, we can also produce your custom designs as wall coverings. However, please note that your image should have an appropriate resolution for the sometimes quite large surfaces.

Can the motif also be customized?

Yes, we can edit our or your images within the limits of our capabilities. We've moved lighthouses, added family members, or removed distracting background elements. When combining two different images, we can harmonize the colors, etc. Contact us, and we'll explain the options and any additional costs.

Can more than 5 panels be made from one motif?

Yes, depending on the motif, this is possible. Please contact us by phone.

Can slopes, cutouts or holes for fittings also be taken into account?

Yes, select the CNC cutting option and send us a dimensioned sketch so we can consider your individual requirements. After your final approval, the panels will then be cut to size for you in our CNC machining center.

On which surfaces can the wall coverings be attached?

Our panels can be installed on virtually any load-bearing surface. The surface should be clean, dust-free, and free of grease and oil. Soap residue and other contaminants should also be removed beforehand.

In wet areas, we recommend waterproofing and priming the substrate underneath our panels.

Nano-seals / Lotus effects & other miracles

We offer wall coverings using the direct printing process. The printing technology used results in a water and dirt-repellent finish. We consider it a bit ambitious to call this a nano-sealing or lotus effect, as some competitors do. Our recommendation: Order a sample and see for yourself!

How can the wall coverings be cleaned?

For cleaning, use only a soft cotton cloth and mild dish soap. Alternatively, you can also use a rubber squeegee. Do not use rough sponges or solvent-based cleaning or abrasive cleaners.

How are the wall coverings delivered?

We deliver our goods in the local area using our own vehicles. We will contact you directly after completion to arrange a delivery date.

In addition, shipping is handled by a freight forwarder. Smaller packages are sent via parcel service.

Can the goods also be picked up?

Of course, you can also pick up the goods from us after completion. Please contact us to arrange this. We will, of course, waive the shipping costs.

What is the production/delivery time?

The production time is approximately 7-9 working days from the approval of your individual print preview.

Delivery takes approximately 2-7 business days within Germany. Delivery times abroad may vary.

Which countries can we deliver to?

We currently ship within Germany and to most European countries. If your destination country is not available, please contact us.

What packaging and shipping costs should I expect?

What is the guarantee on printwand wall coverings?

Should the color of the panel completely fade or become washed out within five years of the purchase date, you will receive a free replacement. The warranty assumes that the panel has been properly installed indoors and the care instructions have been followed. See: How can the wall coverings be cleaned? Furthermore, the panels must not be subjected to any heavy mechanical stress. Damage from pointed or sharp-edged objects must be avoided, and mechanical damage is not covered by this warranty. To claim our manufacturer's warranty, please send us photographic evidence immediately after the panels have been installed.
